Last week I shared a card that used the Blossom Petals Punch, so I decided to show you how you can maximize your cardstock when using this punch so you minimize the amount of scraps you need to use!!
Depending on which stamp and punch you are using, you should line the stamp up accordingly. For example, if you want to punch the largest petal shape, you need to stamp starting on the left hand side of the paper and work your way across. Always stamp, then punch, stamp, then punch, etc. Using this method, you can get 5 petals across a strip of 8-1/2" cardstock.
Here you can see the orientation of that particular punch on the larger punch.
If you want to do the larger skinny petal, you want to stamp the image with the fatter side down, and stamp on the right hand side of the paper. That looks like this.
But really for your BEST bet, you should watch the video below - that will make it ALL make more sense!! :)
