Fall Fest Sneak Peeks

I am working on a large event called Fall Fest that will be held later this month.  It's a training event for demonstrators in my downline and sideline, but if you'd like to attend the make & take portion of the day, let me know!!  (But, hurry - we need to place orders by Monday!)  Today we finalized a lot of the make & takes.  One group of them are all based around one 1/2 pack of DSP (Pocketful of Posies) and the projects are SO COOL!!!  I can't show you all of them, but I have a few sneak peek photos of some of them.  I shared it on the Fall Fest website, so I can share them with you now, too!!

Winter Wonderlude

If you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator (or just a Stampin' Up! enthusiast) in northern NJ, and you weren't at the Dolce Basking Ridge this past weekend, I hate to say it, but you missed out!!!  We had two jam packed days of fun, learning, stamping, eating, sharing, and spending time with fellow demonstrators and the one and only PAM MORGAN!!!

Here is Tina Rosenkrans welcoming everyone at the very beginning of our event.  This was in the Amphitheater where all our general sessions were held.

I helped run the event, so unfortunately I wasn't able to attend all the classes that were offered, but one of the things I "taught" was a technique class called "Technique Time".  Everyone created a mini book with 4 techniques and in future events we plan to build on this book.  Here is a shot of some demonstrators working on their technique pages.

One of the COOLEST things I think we did was do a live simulcast of people demonstrating some workshop wows.  Here is a shot of Stephanie Rodgers showing us how to create paper flowers.

I have more photos of some of the projects, so I'll post them later this week.  Now I have to get back to work & get ready for my Technique Tuesday Class tonight AND my scrapbooking weekend this weekend.  I think the staff at the Dolce will start to think I have moved in!!

National Scrapbooking Day - A Great Success

We had so much fun yesterday at our National Scrapbooking Day Crop & Event!!  There were games, a tiara, prizes, make & takes, shopping, cropping, food, music, and lots of fun!!!  I took a few pictures and thought I would share them with you!!

Here is a shot of the make & take area (in the foreground) and the cropping space in the background.  Everyone had LOTS of room!!!

Here is a close up of the middle of my table.  I had some Decor Elements on display as well at the National Scrapbooking Month Promotion and several samples from my Technique Tuesday classes.

Highlights from Spring Fling!!

Yesterday was a great day - we had the nicest weather day in a LONG time!!!  And I got to spend the day with lots of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators!!  We celebrated Spring Fling, a bi-annual (that means twice a year, right?) event run by my upline, Tina Rosenkrans.  Most of the day was actually spent stamping and doing make & takes (most of which I did NOT finish!!)

Since most of our time was spent stamping, here is a picture of some (this isn't even ALL) of the make & take supplies.  Tina was very proud of the fact that she did this all by herself!!!

Here is a picture of this year's centerpieces (which is really all about the candy, but aren't those jars CUTE???)  The jars are filled with birdseed.

And finally, here is the one make & take that I actually finished.  I didn't do my usual divide & conquer method and I was running around back & forth getting things done for the event, so I was happy to finish one out of three.  This was my favorite project and I might even do it in an upcoming class!!!

This shadowbox frame features the Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper (#115123) from the Occasions Mini, the Beautiful Butterflies Die (#114507), and one word from the Inspiration Decor Elements, medium in Black (#116188).

Off to Spring Fling!!

Today I am attending an all-day training/stamping downline event put together by my upline, Tina Rosenkrans.  I'm looking forward to a great day!!  Several of my downline are going to be there and it'll be nice to catch up & spend some time with them!!!  I'll be sure to post pictures later or tomorrow!!

On another note, I am getting completely wrapped up in this social networkign thing - you know, Facebook, Twotter, etc.  Did you see Oprah yesterday?  She was twittering, and guess who I am now following???  Yup - Oprah!!!  I also decided to follow Ashton Kucher, too, which is purely for a "I want to learn more about this and you are an expert" standpoint.  Anyway, if you want to follow me on twitter, just click here and then click follow.
