Today's Featured Artist of the Day is Jessica Gallagher! Jessica took my January Scrapbooking Sketch Challenge, and this is what she came up with!!
I love the intensity on her son's face as he eats! And I love the clever name of this page. If you are ever stuck for a title, copy something from someone else - movie titles, book titles, song titles, TV show titles, you name it!!!
Very cute page, Jess!!! Thanks for playing!!! If YOU would like to play, too, you still have two days to submit your page. Check out this link for the sketch and happy scrapping!!

Congratulations to Maureen Merritt for her winning layout, "explore". Maureen's layout collected the 66% of the votes in August's Scrapbooking Sketch Challenge and she wins a $10 gift certificate from me!!!! Here is Maureen's layout, which uses the Hoppy Memories Simply Scrappin Kit, to check out:
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Last week was a pretty tough week for me. The kids are now back to school, which is a good thing, but last week was the transition week back into reality, and that is always tough. And the week ended with my least favorite day of the year, 9/11. It's a day I would rather forget and still have a hard time reliving. Another year has gone by, and I still don't think I am ready to deal with the pain and suffering I experienced that day. I hope you guys understand!!!
The good news is that I hope to be back on track this week and in the weeks to come!! Looking forward to the new school year and all the adventures it will bring!!!
Watch for some samples from the new digital software from Stampin' Up!, My Digital Studio coming later this week!!

Today's Featured Artist of the Day is Maureen Merritt! Maureen used the Hoppy Memories Simply Scrappin' Kit by Stampin' Up! to complete her layout. The colors and the embellishments work great with her photos!!!
Maureen also wrote & told me she didn't want to crop her photos to 3x3, so she kept them at 3-3/4" x 3-3/4". I think this tiny twist on the sketch is great!! (I might even like it better than the 3x3!!)

Today's Featured Artist is Dena Manz. Dena created this page from photos of when her and her family went to their local fair. It's a great layout to utilize a lot of photos from one occasion all on one page. I love how she tweaked the sketch and used a 6x3 rectangular photo in place of 2 3x3s.

Here is my layout for the July Sketch Challenge. I should have posted it sooner, but I finally had a few minutes to get outside and photograph some scrapbook pages. So I figured better late than never!!!
This was a little carnival that my daughter's school has each year in the spring. These pictures were from last year. My kids had such a good time and look forward to going every year!!

Today's Featured Artist is Maureen Merritt. Maureen scrapped some professional photos of her family taken by a friend of hers. It's so great how the photographer captured all their personalities in the photos. Maureen did such a nice job letting the photos speak for themselves, and her scrapbooking did not take away from the photos, yet it also speaks volumes.
