I haven't been posting much on Sundays, but I just signed up for a blog post-a-day challenge, and it starts today, so I thought Sunday would be a good day for a sketch! The most fun thing about a sketch is when others play along, too. So I'm going to throw it out there and it's up to you whether you'd like to take it on as a challenge or not.
As many of you know, sketches are my favorite way to scrapbook, so I'm going to share a scrapbooking sketch today, but I might change it up & throw in a card sketch every now & then, too. If you have a preference, please leave me a comment & share your thoughts.
I am cheating a little, because I have posted this sketch before, but I have a few new ones clunking around in my head that I'll get down on paper soon, so I won't always dig one out of the archives. That doesn't mean they will always be new, but most of the time.
I can't remember if I ever completed this sketch or not, so I'll have to go back & check. If so, I'll be sure to post it. If you are so inclined to be inspired by one of these sketches, please take a photo or scan of it and email it to me. I would be happy to share your interpretation!! I'm not saying this is going to turn into a challenge necessarily, but hey - you never know!! Let's see what happens!!
And since I plan to share a sketch every week, I am going to start a photo album on the sidebar of my blog for just sketches, so you can always come back & look through the album for reference!
I haven't mentioned this in awhile, but for those of you who may be newer readers of my blog, a few years ago I published an ebook of scrapbooking sketches called Scrapbookers' Shortcuts. You can check out all the info here. It's a great book with 200 large color samples and lots of tips and ideas. Everyone who has ordered a copy has LOVED it and found it really useful. Hopefully it can help you too!
