Just a quick reminder that it's Sale-a-Bration time! We are already one month in, with just two months to go of this great promotion!!!
Here is a card made with one of my all-time favorite sets, Fifth Avenue Floral. The greeting is from the Occasions Mini set Well Scripted. I purchased this set in the clear mount version. If you are curious about how the clear mount sets go together, you can check out the video I put together here.
The greeting is stamped on Whisper White cardstock and punched with the Wide Oval punch. Behind it I layered a Scallop Circle punch-out in Orchid Opulence. Other than that, this is a pretty simple card. I was inspired by the colors from the paper pack in the Mini Catalog - Shades of Spring. I think between this and the Sending Love paper, these are the two most popular paper packs I've ever seen in a Mini Catalog!!!
I had big plans to scrapbook today, but the day is not going well. I only slept about 4 hours last night, as I spent most of it up with a sick little girl. I took her to the doctor this morning, and she has a double ear infection and a perforated eardrum (only in the left ear). She was up screaming for a good part of the night. I gave her the homeopathic olive oil treatment, and that seemed to help the pain, but then it made her ear feel funny, but finally at least she was able to sleep. Jeff has been traveling like crazy, and last night was the ONLY night he was home since last Sunday and until next Tuesday. So much for a quiet & peaceful night together!!!
Anyway, Erin is feeling better. This is her first ear infection ever, so I consider myself pretty lucky. She's on antibiotics (not my favorite option, but I guess it's the fastest way to make her feel better), ate a big lunch of (one of her favorites) pancakes & scrambled eggs (I guess that would kind of be like brunch, but whatever!! - semantics!!), and has been resting on the couch, and sipping water. Let's hope for a good night's sleep tonight!!! Scrapbooking can wait 'til tomorrow (or maybe after they go to bed)!!! :)
Hope you enjoyed today's sample! And I hope you get to create something fun today!!!
