When you are a demonstrator for over six years, you accumulate A LOT of cut cardstock. And I save every last scrap. Earlier this week, I was preparing for my All Occasion Card Class (which was yesterday), and I decided to go through ALL my already-cut-cardstock and organize & consolidate it. Here is what my basement floor looked like at its worst. This was Monday night.
See that empty spot in the middle; that was where I was sitting. And notice that huge pile of cello bags in the photo on the top (upper right corner)? My guess is that there were at least 300. And you will be happy to know that I saved them all (even though MANY were written on) and I plan to recycle them by reusing them. Sorry Stampin' Up! - it will be a LONG time before I need to order cello bags again!!!!
So here is what all that looks like now:
Can you believe it??? Pretty impressive, huh? And I can't tell you how much more USEFUL it is to me this way!! It is so refreshing to look at these 2 little boxes of cardstock. Before they took up over 10 different bins; now, just two. As silly and mundane a task as this was, I feel so MUCH better about how it looks & how I can make use of these pieces.
Come back tomorrow when I start posting some of the cards from this class. I'll be sure to let you know if I was able to be "green" and use "already-cut" pieces.
Have a great day!!

I DARE YOU to not cut another piece of cardstock until all of this is USED!!! LOL!! Congratulations on a "GREEN" job well done! I can soooo relate to the feeling of accomplishment.
