First, I want to let everyone know I appreciate all your excitement about this event. I am hoping and praying for a huge success. I have set a goal of raising $1,000 for Ellie, so that means we need to make 1,000 cards!! I know we can do it!!!
If you missed the earlier announcement about this event, here are the details again - Come to my brand new studio on Saturday, January 19 from 9AM - 7PM (I did shift the times slightly from the last post) and here you will find supplies left over from workshops and 10 card classes and they are all YOURS to create as many cards as you would like!!! And all my embellishments will be available for use as well - ribbon, punches, adhesive, brads, eyelets, you name it! Envelopes are also included and you can stamp them too!!! Each card costs $2 and $1 of that will go straight to Ellie toward her may medical expenses not covered by insurance.
In addition to making cards, there will be yummy snacks (some homemade in the new kitchen!!), door prizes given out throughout the day, free demonstrations on some of Stampin' Up!'s new products, and 10% of all orders placed that day will also go toward Ellie's fund.
If you cannot make it, you can still help!! You can place orders for completed cards and I will make them for you & mail them to you!! $1 from each of these cards will also go to Ellie!! Check out the form here. You can email it to me anytime between now and January 19 at noon and I will ship them out as soon as possible.
As for our little superstar, Ellie has been in the news some more. Here is a link to another news special that she was featured in. Recent posts on the Vedra Family Blog report that Ellie is improving!!! Please keep praying and hope to see you on January 19!!!

This is AWESOME Jen! What a wonderful thing to do for Ellie. I'm sure the Card-a-thon will go great!
I will be sending a form soon!
Love ya,
Amanda
