A huge thank you to those of you who came out in person or via email to support Ellie!!! I think we had about 40 people come and make about 129 cards yesterday!! Here is a picture of one of the slower points in the day. I think at our peak we had about 16 people working on cards - some were sitting on the floor and some were standing!!!
It was an overwhelming day, but everyone had so much fun and enjoyed helping Ellie's cause!!
Needless to say, I did not get much time to stamp yesterday, so if you have ordered cards, please be patient. I will be working on the this week and will send them out in the order they were received. I'm still hoping to get them all out this week! So far I have orders for 165 cards!! If you are waiting for a total to send a check or a paypal invoice, I will be getting back to you today & tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!!!
I also am willing to keep up the card-a-thon orders for a while longer, so if you would still like to order cards, or if you get your cards and would like more, please just let me know. Here again is the form.
Although we didn't make our goal of 1,000 cards yet, we are closer to our goal of $1,000. With the orders that were placed, the cards made yesterday, and people's additional (very generous) donations, I estimate we have raised somewhere between $500 & $600 so far!! Thank you so much for making this such a successful event!! Please keep praying for Ellie and watching her blog to see how your generosity & prayers continue to help her!!

This was so much fun! And I can't believe that in addition to all the pre-cut cardstock you let us raid all your embellishments, ribbon, inks and even adhesive! Boy was I glad about that since I almost always forget to bring adhesive when I come over. This time it didn't matter! I'm so glad the cards I made are helping little Ellie get stronger and stronger!
