I love this technique - I named it Tie Dye Backgrounds. I used stamping spots & basically did direct to paper from the center out to the edges. I masked the center with a post it note, then stamped the image.
This was a technique we taught at one of our Stamp & Scrap University sessions - a series of classes all about techniques - back in November 2005.
